Hosbach Doubles Twice

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

After winning a flip with ace-king against D.J. MacKinnon's pocket queens, Scott Hosbach took a {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop against chip leader Nick Walker. Hosbach committed his stack with the {A-Clubs}{9-Spades} and needed to fade a plethora of ous against Walker's {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. The turn and river bricked off, and Hosbach is right back in it.

Tom MacKinnon Eliminated in 10th Place ($1,262)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

A little family rivalry ended with Tom MacKinnon falling in 10th place. His nephew, D.J. MacKinnon, opened to 22,000. Tom moved all in for 101,000 and D.J. called after getting an exact count.

Tom MacKinnon: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
D.J. MacKinnon: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The younger MacKinnon's hand held up through the {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Clubs} board, and we're down to nine players.

Walker Takes Chip Lead

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Nick Walker
Nick Walker

Nick Walker raised to 22,000 from middle position, Scott Gaddi three-bet to 50,000 from the cutoff and Walker called to see a {K-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. Walker check-called a bet of 41,000, bringing the {10-Hearts} on the turn. This time Walker led out for 95,000. Gaddi shoved and Walker beat him into the pot.

Walker: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Gaddi: {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Gaddi was already drawing dead to Walker's full house, and the meaningless {K-Spades} completed the board. Walker is the new chip leader with 850,000.

Another Final Table Double

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

After Nick Walker doubled through Hosbach, Hosbach got some back against Brian McCormick. Hosbach moved all in for around 115,000 with the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and McCormick called with the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. The {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board gave Hosbach a flush and kept him alive.
