Penkalski Fills Up on the River

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Marcy Jo Penkalski added another big pot to her stack as the previous level was coming to a close, increasing her chip count to 45,000. With a raise to 300 in front, Buck Ramsay called from the cutoff, Penkalski called on the button and the player in the big blind followed.

The flop rolled out {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and the original raiser led out for 600. Ramsay folded and Penkalski raised to 1,500. The big blind folded and the other player called, bringing the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. Penkalski's opponent checked and she bet 2,000, which was met with a quick call.

The {10-Hearts} completed the board and once again Penkalski's opponent check-called her bet, this time worth 3,500. Penkalski flipped over the {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a full house and her opponent mucked.
