Get to Know Fernando Halac
Fernando Halac, who is in action today, is a grinder. With more than $250k in lifetime earnings, he is no stranger to poker Florida. Back in 2014, he finished 53rd in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) Main Event for $29,933, and in October of last year, he placed fourth in the 2018 Isle Open Pompano Beach Event #3: $200 NLH for $13,241.
However, his biggest cash came back in 2013 when he finished ninth in the World Series of Poker Seniors Championship for $52,474. Other highlights on his poker résumé include third in the 2007 Doyle Brunson Five Diamon World Poker Classic $1,000 NLH for $20,000, $18,770 for finishing third in a 2011 Borgata Poker Open $560 side event, and taking second in a Bellagio Weekly $1k tournament for $15,280.
