Start-of-day short stack "ifyourgood" started the day with eight big blinds, but it was "Havana85" out first. "ifyourgood" followed, with "cocojones" and "PokerHorst" eliminated in seventh and sixth.

Four of the top five players were from Brazil, and after "HenriquinAK" and "LeoAlcantara" were eliminated in fifth place, the remaining three players looked at the numbers.

Costa Rican-flagged "59ofspades" sat in the chip lead with 55 big blinds compared with around 27 big blinds for both Moraes and Teles, but not deal was agreed.

However, the Brazilian comeback was on, with "59ofspades" sent to the rail by "GoTelesGO" after running ace-six into the ace-ten of his opponent and failing to catch up.

With Brazilian PokerStars Pro Rafael Moraes looking on in the chat, the pair agreed to a deal. But that didn't stop the drama of the final hand.

Both players put 10 million chips in pre-flop, and Moraes checked to Teles, who bet 16.8 million on a 983 flop. Moraes check-raised to 54 million and called a shove from their opponent for 186 million.

Paulo "Pauilohpmoraes" Moraes: Q9
Guilherme "GoTelesGO" Teles: 83

Having flopped two pair, Teles was in good shape, but the miracle J10 runout gave Moraes a backdoor straight to take down victory, secure a six-figure victory and become the newest SCOOP Main Event champion.
