Nitsche Busts From the $10K NLHE Main Event

Dominik "Bounatirou" Nitsche will not win the 2024 SCOOP $10,300 NLHE Main Event because he just crashed out at the hands of Vyacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin.

Nitsche's A♥J♣ didn't get there against Buldygin's dominating A♦K♣, with the five community cards running out2♠4♦9♣2♥10♦.

Nitsche is gone, but Buldygin is now the chip leader with 19 players remaining.

The hand after Nitsche's demise, Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas moved all-in preflop and won the blinds and antes. Colillas' stack has dwindled to 2,658,100 chips, and he finds himself 17th from 19 players.

Wistern Flying High in the $109 NLHE SCOOP Main Event

Team PokerStars' Lasse Jagd Lauritsen, better known as "Wistern" returned to Day 3 of the $109 NLHE Main Event in the middle of the pack, his stack placing him 88th from 158 returning players. The tournament is currently on a scheduled break, and the field has been whittled to a more manageable 41 hopefuls. Wistern finds himself in 11th place, having improved his stack to 17,644,714 chips from the 2,7982,242 he started Day 3 with.

He now has $2,688 locked in, with $241,169 awaiting the eventual champion.

Soft tables are as rare as hen's teeth at any stage of the $10,300 No-Limit Hold'em SCOOP Main Event, but even more so when only 23 players remain. Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas is Team PokerStars' lone representative in the final stages of this huge tournament, and his table is as stacked as it can get.

Current chip leader Juanki "B4NKR0LL3R" Vecino and second in chips Vyacheslav "VbV1990" Buldygin have position on the Spaniard, while Sergio "zcedrick" Aido and Peter "pitaoufmg" Patricio are to his immediate left.

If that wasn't bad enough, Dominik "Bounatirou" Nitsche is also present at the Colillas' table.

So far, Colillas is more than holding his own. He is 11th in chips with 23 players remaining. He and everyone else are guaranteed $46,797, but with $948,433 up top, nobody will want to claim that sum.

The $5,200 Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event is down to only four players, and Mike "SirWatts" Watson finds himself in pole position for the $132,607 top prize.

Watson has almost three times as many chips as his nearest opponent, but that opponent is none other than Ole "wizowizo" Schemion.

Mario "MB TREMENDO" Bonanata is third in chips, with Pascal "Pass_72" Lefrancois bringing up the rear. However, even Lefrancois has 29 big blinds, so this event is far from over; there's plenty of poker to be played.

Wistern Makes SCOOP 115-L: $109 Main Event Day 3

Less than two weeks ago, PokerStars Ambassador Lasse Jagd Lauritsen — better known as Wistern — tweeted that he was still looking for his first SCOOP Day 2. Well now he's got a Day 3 to look forward to with just 158 players remaining from a starting field of 23,616.

Wistern has locked up $1,388 and sits 88th in chips with 2,7982,242. He secured a huge double holding pocket kings with 297 players remaining to stay alive.

The chip leader is "sonik4" with over 17 million chips. Other notables still in contention include Rayan "beriuzy" Chamas, Steven "SvZff" van Zadelhoff and Roman "gogac sniper" Hrabec.

The tournament resumes at 17:30 WET on Tuesday evening and plays down to a final table.

Field of Big Names in SCOOP 120-H: $25,000 Super High Roller

The biggest buy-in of the SCOOP festival got underway last night with 69 entries in the $25,000 Super High Roller. After 14 hours of play, it's Kahle "ROFLshove" Burns who sits in the chip lead, with almost double the chips of Mario "MB TREMENDO" Bonanata in second place.

Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos was the only player at the final table picked in the $25k Fantasy Draft at the WSOP, but will have to delay any plans to head to Vegas for at least one more day.

Ryhor "Grisha813" Karapanau was the unfortunate bubble boy, finishing in tenth with the final able all guaranteed $52,758.

Fintan "easywithaces" Hand has three. Lex Veldhuis won his first this year. And now, Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot has his first SCOOP title. He defeated "Vop4444" heads-up to win Event 113-H: $530 NLHE Sunday Kickoff for $70,128.

In the penultimate hand, Talbot overbet pot with 3♣2♣ on a K♠6♣5♦10♣A♣ board and was called by his opponent. Talbot's flush was good leaving his opponent with 2.5 big blinds which went in on the final hand and Talbot emerged victorious.

Colillas Ninth in Chips with 40 Left in SCOOP 115-H: $10,300 Main Event

Some of the best players entered the SCOOP 115-H: $10,300 Main Event and that field of 534 players has been whittled down to just 40 and they include PokerStars Ambassador Ramon Colillas.

Despite starting yesterday as the chip leader in the SCOOP 115-M Main Event, he fell in a respectable 306th place and was able to pivot and focus his attention on the big one. He's the only PokerStars Ambassador flying the flag ahead of Day 3, which begins at 17:30 WET and plays down to a final table of nine.

SCOOP 115-H: $10,300 Main Event Top 10 Chip Counts

Leading the survivors is Juan Carlos "B4NKR0LL3R" Vecino who is the only player with an eight-figure stack. He emerged as chip leader midway through the day and held on as the bubble burst and the Day 3 field was set. He tops a field filled with talent that includes the likes of Patrick "pads1161" Leonard, Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo and Jerry "Perrymejsen" Odeen.

Hand and Grafton Just Miss Out

Just 63 players were guaranteed a min-cash of $23,783, with one unlucky poker player leaving empty-handed.

It appeared that the unlucky player was Espen "Hymn2Ninkasi" Jorstad, who got his last chips in with A♥3♣ against the K♠Q♠ of Tauan "kylix42" Naves. The flop 10♣5♠4♠ gave Naves a flush draw. The turn was the 6♥ but the river 8♠ completed Naves' flush draw sending Jorstad to the rail. However, at another table , Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski had been eliminated, meaning that Jorstad was, in fact, the recipient of a min-cash.

Two PokerStars Ambassadors finished in the money with Sam "SamSquid" Grafton busting in 57th for $23,783, and Fintan "easywithaces" Hand narrowly missing out on making the final 40, finishing in 44th place for $29,803.
