Final Table Action
"Camel013" came into the day as the shortest stack but might have been one of the tightest players at the table. They slowly bled chips but it was still Goh who would bust in ninth place when he had shoved on the flop with top pair. Unfortunate for him, "hello_totti" had hit the set to send him packing. "Camel013" managed to double up twice before seeing fellow countryman Mulder leave the final table in eighth place when he ran his queen-ten into the king-seven of Leonard.
"Camel013" doubled up once more before East was sent away in seventh place when he ran his tens into the sevens of Sammartino. The seven on the flop spelled the end of the road for the Brit. Having picked up a few pay jumps, "Camel013" busted in sixth place to Leonard too. Martirosian also fell to the hands of Leonard when they had both flopped top pair but the king-kicker of Leonard earned him another bounty and a substantial chip lead.
Sammartino fell in fourth place when his ace-king couldn't beat the ace-eight of Leonard after having just doubled up through Stevens. Stevens was left short and doubled up once before losing it all again to "hello_totti". Heads-up play lasted around 40 minutes with the Day 1 chip leader putting the pressure on Leonard to grab the chip lead back from him.
They kept building the lead and looked to be cruising towards the win but Leonard fought back when he hit a pair of kings twice before turning things around when he raked in a big pot with a full house. In the end, Leonard check-called the shove of "hello_totti" on the five-trey-ten-queen-seven board with the nut-flush to win the tournament.
