Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen Eliminated in 9th Place ($31,822)

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
psihodelik31 vs Jouhkimainen
psihodelik31 vs Jouhkimainen

Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen shoved from the hijack for 716,310 and "psihodelik31" three-bet shoved for 1,665,885 from the small blind for Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson to fold the big blind for the cards to go on their backs.

Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
"psihodelik31": {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades} to keep "psihodelik31" ahead.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds} for both of them to hit two pair but "psihodelik31" was still ahead. Only another king could save Jouhkimainen as they would split the pot but the river completed the board with the {4-Diamonds} instead.

Jouhkimainen was eliminated in ninth place.

Plan for Day 2

When the players return, they will finish the remainder of Level 23 which features a small blind of 35,000, a big blind of 70,000, and a running ante of 8,750. Once that level is over and done with, the level duration will be increased to 30 minutes and play will continue until a new SCOOP champion can be crowned.

The PokerStars Twitch channel will be live too with James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton, joined by possible guest commentators. The hole cards will be shown on a 30-minute security delay which means that the PokerNews updates will be on the same delay to avoid spoilering the stream.

This is what is still left to play for:
