Macedo only left himself 49,404 chips back and Veldhuis decided to make a four-bet to put those at risk as well. Macedo made the call and the cards were turned face-up.

The flop of 8♦3♥4♦ was clean for Veldhuis, but the Q♣ turn massively changed the favorite in this hand. No jack was rivered as the 2♠ rolled off, and Macedo raked in a double to roughly 25 big blinds. Veldhuis, in the meantime, was left with around the same stack.
