Kolonias Busted by Beresford

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Alexandros "mexican222" Kolonias opened for 80,000 under the gun and Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford three-bet to 212,750 on his left. Action folded back to Kolonias, who jammed for 924,444. Beresford called with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and was crushing {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

The {j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop brought more pain for Kolonias but he had a chance after the {9-Hearts} turn. However, the river was a {7-Hearts}.

Alexander "BIack88" Trofimov opened for 78,750 under the gun and called the shove of Connor "blanconegro" Drinan for 871,302. Trofimov had the blades {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} and Drinan needed a seven as he showed down {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

The board ran out seven-free, ending Drinan's bid for a fifth SCOOP title in this series for the time being.

Martirosyan First Out on a Beat

Level 19 : 17,500/35,000, 3,750 ante

Artur "mararthur1" Martirosyan opened for 70,000 in the cutoff and Alexander "BIack88" Trofimov made it 210,000 on his left. Action folded back to Martirosyan and he jammed for 833,908. Trofimov called with {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} but was way behind {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.
