Welcome to the Day 1 of the two-day SCOOP-14-H: $1,050 Sunday Warm-Up featuring a huge $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. The action kicks off shortly at 5:30 p.m. GMT/1:30 p.m. EDT.
The first-ever SCOOP took place in 2009 and has been around since then. With buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to a whopping $25,000, there will be something to play for everyone. In 2019, the entire schedule was spread over 16 days but this year it has been increased to 21 days with 80 events and three buy-in levels each to get to a total of 240 tournaments. And all of this comes with a gargantuan prize pool of more than $85,000,000. PokerNews will be all over it with live coverage of no fewer than 30 tournaments!
Today's action will feature some of the biggest names in online poker thanks to the four-figure $1,050 buy-in. Of course, many players didn't pay full price with satellites running nonstop at PokerStars.
The Warm-Up is a deep-stacked affair with players starting off with 100,000 in chips. Blinds start at just 250/500 with a 60 ante and increasing every 20 minutes.
