Another Three Down

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante
Mysters_Y eliminated
Mysters_Y eliminated

Tatiana "Mysters_Y" Barausova was all-in with the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and "Danila4444" looked her up with the dominating {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} in the cutoff. The board came {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs} and that spelled the end for Barausova.

Next up it was Marton "noirduck" Czuczor who lost the fight with his short stack and came up short.

Ultimately, the demise of "Shansovne415" started with an innocent button limp and "kZhh" checked the big blind. They checked the {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop, "kZhh" bet the {5-Clubs} turn for 128,500 and was called before shoving the {6-Hearts} river for more than 800,000 effective. The call of "Shansovne415" with the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} followed but "kZhh" had {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a flush.

Frank Among Next Casualties

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
lissi stinkt eliminated
lissi stinkt eliminated

The next three players on the rail just before the blinds went up were Christopher "lissi stinkt" Frank, Ivan "Negriin" Luca and "Ron Jovi 7".

"Ron Jovi 7" jammed the button with the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Markku "markovitsus" Koplimaa called in the big blind with the {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The board came {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and that spelled the end for the German.

Frank then called the small blind push by "ale kmkz" with {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and was ahead of the {10-Clubs}{6-Spades} of his opponent. However, the board came {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and the six on the river sent the German and now Austrian resident out.

Arends Goes Runner Runner to Bust Kiselev

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Pete “psxfrcndhe" Chen has taken a big hit early on and Daniil "Dancer King" Kiselev was then eliminated, as was Luan "Pseudo Fruto" Felipe.

Kiselev defended his big blind against a min-raise by Jans "Graftekkel" Arends and they checked the {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop. Kiselev check-called a bet of 172,000 on the {a-Hearts} turn and check-called a shove on the {a-Clubs} river.

Kiselev had flopped a straight with the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} but Arends hit running cards for a full house with the {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

Arends Up Early

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

"m.a-0000" raises and calls a hefty three-bet to 210,000 by Jans "Graftekkel" Arends to see the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, on which "m.a-0000" check-calls another bet of

After the {3-Diamonds} turn, "m.a-0000" checks once more and Arends fires a second barrel to pick up another call and increase the pot to more than a million in chips. The {k-Clubs} on the river was checked and "m.a-0000" showed sevens, Arends had made the superior two pair with king-queen.

In the meanwhile, "nomalice" hit the rail when he failed to get there with {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts} against the [AcJs of Markku "markovitsus" Koplimaa on a board of {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}.

nomalice Doubles in First Hand

Level 24 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

"nomalice" was the shortest stack heading into the day and jammed the button with the {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}. He was isolated by "xnrobix" with the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} in the small blind and the {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} board kept nomalice in contention.

There are only two minutes to go in the level as the blinds will move up shortly, and all players are in their seats, nobody appears to be disconnected.

Who Will Win the Title in the 2020 SCOOP Event #02-H: $2,100 NLHE?

Guillaume Nolet among the big stacks heading into Day 2
Guillaume Nolet among the big stacks heading into Day 2

Eight hours and 50 minutes of poker action have already been completed in the 2020 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) Event #02-H: $2,100 NLHE and the field of 575 entries has been cut down to the final 43 hopefuls, who will be back in their virtual seats as of 1 p.m. local time. The biggest slice of the cash and bounty prize pool worth $1,150,000 in total is still up for grabs and a familiar face is at the top of the counts for the final day.

Sweden's "Sasuke234" is certainly no slouch when it comes to online MTT's and currently ranks 13th in the world according to Pocket Fives, back in 2017 he even went up to as high as 2nd place. "Sasuke234" has already racked up more than $12 million in cashes, of which nearly $5.7 million belong to his moniker on PokerStars. The last six-figure score was fewer than two weeks ago when he took down High Rollers 45: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event], $1M Gtd event for $272,953.14.

"Sasuke234" enters the final day as only player above three million in chips with 3,196,370, and he is followed by "kZhh" with 2,966,657 and 2019 EPT Barcelona €1,100 National winner Markku "markovitsus" Koplimaa (2,899,468). Other above-average stacks belong to Eder "edercampana" Campana (2,784,780), Guillaume "Nolet20" Nolet (2,676,745), Pete “psxfrcndhe" Chen (2,051,850), "manuverd0n" (1,735,940), and Bertie "bigstealer" Bayley (1,647,000).

The Dutch hopes in the Day 2 field are on "0m3rta" (,059,142), Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof (1,236,870) and Jans "Graftekkel" Arends (1,166,809), while former PokerStars Championship Panama winner Kenneth "kenny05" Smaron (877,911), WSOP bracelet winner Christopher "lissi stinkt" Frank (753,092) and Argentinian high stakes grinder Ivan "Negriin" Luca (624,065) are other big names to watch out for.

As of 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), the blinds will recommence at 17,500/35,000 with a running ante of 4,500. Until the end of level 36, the levels remain 20 minutes long and increase to 30 minutes each thereafter. An additional 10 seconds will be added to the time bank for each one hour played.

The smallest progressive knockout bounty thus far is worth $1,500 while the largest currently stands at $10,031,25, both amounts are expected to fluctuate rapidly on the way to crowning a champion. Stay tuned right here on PokerNews to find out who adds a SCOOP title and possible top cash prize of more than $88,000 to their resume.
