Day 1b of the RGPS Kansas City Main Event Begins at 7 p.m.
The second of three starting flights of the RunGood Poker Series $575 Main Event at Harrah's North Kansas City is set to begin at 7 p.m. The opening flight drew 111 entries and saw 26 players move forward to Day 2.
The players will start with 20,000 and have a dozen 30-minute levels to find their way into the Day 2 flight as well. The flight is expected to be a little larger than last night's as players will want to try and bag tonight in order to have a day off Saturday.
Each of the preliminary events has drawn a bigger crowd than the Kansas City stop earlier this year. This stop is the last chance for players to get their hands on one of the Signature Championship rings.
Among the players expected in the field tonight are "Barstool Nate" of Barstool Sports making his first appearance at a RunGood Poker Series event. Also, poker media veteran Kevin "Kevmath" Mathers will be in the field tonight.
