Eric Bunch Has Overwhelming Chip Lead After Day 1a at Tulsa RunGood Main Event

The first of three Day 1 flights has been completed in Tulsa Oklahoma at the RunGood Poker Series. Day 1a of the $800 Main Event saw a total of 147 entrants, with 18 making the money and advancing to Day 2. The chip leader at the end of the night was Eric Bunch, who bagged 844,000.

Bunch ended Day 1a with an overwhelming chip lead, after a double knockout when he had ace-king suited to start the momentum. Bunch has over $1,400,000 in career earnings, and is looking to add to that with a deep run in this event. Sitting second in chips is World Series of Poker bracelet winner Michael Perrone (472,000). Perrone has over $1,000,000 in career earnings with his biggest score coming when he WSOP Bracelet in the Event #10: $1,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em. Third in chips is Tulsa, Oklahoma resident Daniel Hughes with 390,000.

The 18 remaining players all made the money after Ramona Jacobi called a raise from Isaac Cramer in the small blind, and a bet on the king high flop. After the turn Cramer bet to put Jacobi all in, which she called with pocket nines, but was unable to beat the ace-king of Cramer.
