Robertson Shows Aggression Early

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

A player from early position and on the button limped in, before Clint Robertson raised to 900. Once the big blind folded, both the early position player and the button made the call.

The flop came AJ3 and Robertson bet out 1,200, which got a quick folded the early position player, but the player on the button made the call.

The turn brought the 3 and Robertson again quickly fired out a bet, this time for 3,000. After giving it some thought the button elected to muck his hand and give the pot to Robertson.

RunGood Poker Series Continues in Tulsa with the $800 Main Event

The RunGood Poker Series is in full swing in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The highly anticipated $800 Main Event kicks off with the first of three Day 1 flights starting at 6 p.m. local time. In addition to a $100,000 prize pool and the coveted RunGood ring, players are vying for a NAPT Gold Pass, which will be awarded to the “Golden Player of the Series.” This prestigious pass, valued at $10,000, will cover hotel accommodations at Resorts World in Las Vegas, travel expenses, and a $5,300 buy-in for the Main Event of the NAPT.

In January, the RunGood Series made its first stop in Tulsa, where Todd Tucker clinched the top prize of $73,242 after a heads-up battle against David McFeely.

Players will begin the tournament with 30,000 in starting chips with blinds at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Levels will last 30 minutes each until late registration closes after Level 8, and will then go to 40-minute levels. There will be a 15-minute break at the conclusion of every 4 levels. Play will continue until there is 12.5% left at which point the players will bag up for Day 2 on Sunday October 13.
