After four flights of play, The RunGood Poker Series Resort $800 Main Event has seen the registration flights come to a close. 539 players came out to test their skills in the third installment here at Hollywood Casino in St. Louis, Missouri. The $200,000 guarantee has been smashed with 67 players guaranteed a piece of the $382,690 unofficial prizepool.

RGPS crusher Jesse Jones of Day 1c did not disappoint today as he bagged the largest chip count of all four flights. Returning with 720,000 tomorrow, Jones will be a force to be reckoned with as he looks to score his first piece of RunGood hardware.

Bagging second today is Casey Master with 641,000 and rounding out the top three is Michael Brown with 539,000.

Sean Maurer (535,000) was the beneficiary of a late-night run and he capped it off when he made a huge call against Daniel Lowery (84,000) to rocket to the top of the counts. Others who found bags included Cody Stanford, (263,000), Hamid Izadi (252,000) and Preston McEwen (136,000), each looking for their first RGPS Main Event title.

Fortune did not smile on all players today. Greg Raymer, Shaun Emery, and Jessica Robertsall fell short of an end-of-day bag. They will have to look towards other RGPS main events to claim a title.

Play ended with 28:00 left in Level 13 in Day 1a with blinds at 3,000/5,000 with a 5,000 big blind ante. 67 players will come back tomorrow at 12:00 with 40-minute blinds and a dinner break when the players reach the final table.

Stay tuned to PokerNews for updates and to find out who will be crowned champion for the RGPS Resort stop in St. Louis, Missouri.
