Just before blinds went up, action was three ways with A♦J♠Q♥ on the board when a player in the small blind checked before Matt Chaney tossed out 800 from the big blind. A player in the cutoff called and Robert Heard came along from the button before the small blind stayed in.
The turn was 5♣ and the small blind checked again. Chaney fired 2800 and the cutoff folded before Heard and the small blind came along for the river.
The river was J♦ and the small blind fired 5,000. Chaney folded and Heard raised to 15,000 — enough to take the pot with a fold from the small blind.
Heard flashed his cards and the table was shown his K♣10♣ for a Broadway straight.
