Schaina Sniffs Out Platt

Level 22 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On a heads-up completed board of 3Q549, there was around 180,000 in the middle when Tennyson Schaina led for 125,000. The action was then on Jeff Platt who used one of his time banks before he announced a raise to 485,000, which left him with only 40,000 behind.

After using one of his own time banks, Schaina tossed out a chip to make the call.

Platt then turned over K6 for a king-high bluff while Schaina tabled 34 for two pair to take the pot.

"Well, if I had known it was two pair, I would've given up!" Platt joked as the pile of chips were shipped to hi neighbor.

Fortunately for Platt, he managed to triple from one big blind to three the very next hand when his J9 bested 78 of the big blind.

Caucau on the Comeback

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

After being down to a single big blind a short time ago, Ratu Caucau was at it again as he open-shoved preflop for 130,000 and was called by Martin Bates in the big blind to put him at risk.

Ratu Caucau: 55All in
Martin Bates: 44

"Agh! why do you have to have me out-pipped!" Bates exclaimed, and the board did not help his cause as the runout of 10A336 awarded Caucau the pot for the double-up.

Mendoza Scoops with a Seven; Wang Walks

Level 20 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Left short after doubling up Lee Sanders, Kong Wang moved all in preflop for 70,000 and was called by Sanders, Charles Mendoza, and Alexey Laptev.

The three players on the side then proceeded to check through the runout of 2K1027 and the hands were tabled.

Kong Wang: QJAll in
Lee Sanders: AQ
Alexey Laptev: Ax9x
Charles Mendoza: 78

Mendoza's seven on the river was good to scoop the pot for a nice pickup while Kong was sent to the exit.

Sanders Fills Up

Level 20 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

After some preflop betting shenanigans, Lee Sanders got it all in against Kong Wang, who covered.

Lee Sanders: AQAll in
Kong Wang: 88

Sanders would need to improve to stay alive, and he sure did as the runout of Q766Q gave him the top full house for the double.
