McGuan Knocks Out Magers

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Level 11: Blinds 1,500/3,000/3,000

Short-stacked Aaron Magers moved all in preflop for around 20,000 and Casey McGuan quickly made the call to put him at risk.

Aaron Magers: 710
Casey McGuan: AQ

The flop of 210J gave Magers the lead with his pair of tens, but unfortunately it was short-lived as the turn was the Q to give McGuan the superior pair. The river 2 failed to save Magers and last night's PLO ring-winner was eliminated from the tournament

Kyle Kitagawa
Kyle Kitagawa

After a preflop betting war, all the chips got into the middle between Leslie Autenreith and Kyle Kitagawa, who covered.

Leslie Autenreith: AK
Kyle Kitagawa: AK

Both players shared a laugh as they both tabled the same hand, but the smile quickly vanished from Kitagawa's face as the board ran out 37QJ6 to give Autenreith a backdoor flush for all of the chips.

Left extremely short, Kitagawa exited soon after.

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On a multi-way flop of J9K, Armando Mesina led for 3,500 but then Jose Araya moved all in, followed by another shove by Michael Souza for less. The action got back to Mesina who thought about it for a good while before he decided to let it go while the other players tabled their cards.

Michael Souza: Q10
Jose Araya: J9

Souza was in in great shape to double with his flopped nut straight, but the runout of 39 gave Araya full house on the river and he was sent to the rail in brutal fashion.

Danger Sends Bluffer to the Brigg

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

On a heads-up turn of 284K, there were around 8,000 chips in the middle when Rodney Danger led for 4,000 and was called by Michael Briggs.

When the river fell the 8, Danger fired again for 6,000 but then Briggs moved all in to cover.

After around twenty seconds in the tank, Danger made the call and heard those sweet, sweet words...

"Aghh, you're good."

Briggs turned over A5 for just ace-high while Danger tabled AA for the biggest two-pair to take down the huge pot early in Level 1.

Briggs was then left very short and exited soon after.
