Cunningham Triples in Three-Way
Level 11
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
After some back-and-forth betting, William Dixon, TJ Cunningham, and Richard Hughes got all the chips in the middle preflop, with Hughes covering.
William Dixon:
TJ Cunningham:
Richard Hughes:
"Come on, hold!" Cunningham shouted as he realized he was the favorite of the trio, and the flop of put him further into the lead as he paired his jack. This flop also gave Hughes an open-ended straight draw, and the turn gave him even more outs now that he made a pair of sixes. Unfortunately for Hughes, the river was a complete brick and Cunningham scored the triple-up as Dixon was eliminated.
"Wow, I cant believe I held there, the person in first almost never wins in the three-way!" Cunningham said as he scooped the pot.
