Day 1c Begins at 11 am of The RGPS St Louis Main Event
After 82 players came out to the first flight of the tournament, Day 1b saw a total of 173 entrants come out to play The $800 RGPS Main Event at Hollywood Casino in St. Louis, MO. Today at 11 am, players will have their third opportunity to secure a bag to get a piece of the $200,000 guaranteed prizepool.
Yesterday’s flight saw Keith Heine bag up 463,000, good for the lead in his flight. Others who found bags included Jason Rogers who finished just one chip shy of the chip lead with 462,000, WSOP Bracelet winner Jason Simon (368,000), Angela Jordison (302,000), Tim Garles (278,000), and Paul Belken (252,000). Each one of them looking to carve out a piece of RGPS history.

Today will also see regulars from St. Louis and other RunGood stops alike to play for the title. RGPS Tunica Main Event champion Loi Hoang will likely fire today, along with Preston McEwen, Craig Welko, Grant Hinkle, Jeffrey Copeland, Cody Stanford, and Walker Miskelly.
Players will begin the tournament with 30,000 in chips with blinds beginning at 100/200 and a 200 big blind ante. Levels will last 30 minutes each with a 10-minute break occurring after every four until Level 8. After Level 8, registration will close and the levels will be upped to 40 minutes, with a 10-minute break occurring after every three levels. Play will conclude once the field has shrunk to 12.5% remaining. Players will bag after that with the intention to return to play on Day 2 on Sunday, October 1st at 12 pm.
