On a heads-up flop of 2♥5♠8♣, Maurice Thomas led out for 300,000 and then Derrick Yamada moved all in for 950,000 total.
After some time in the tank, Thomas made the call to put him at risk and the cards were tabled.

Yamada was in great shape with his flopped two-pair, and the turn 4♥ left Thomas drawing only to a three for a straight.
The dealer gave Yamada a brief heart attack on the river as he peeled the 2♦ that looked an awful lot like a three but the pot was ultimately pushed his way for the double-up.

On a three-way flop of 4♦A♣7♥, action checked to the preflop raiser, Derrick Yamada, who continued for 100,000.
Jasmin Grabic called the 100,000 while Maurice Thomas got out of the way. The turn came the 9♠ and both players decided to check and went straight to the 2♥ river.
Grabic then tossed out a stack of 225, 000 and Yamada went into the tank, as that was a good portion of his remaining chips.
After around 30 seconds, he mustered up the courage and made the call, to which Grabic quickly mucked his hand to award Yamada the pot.
Yamada gave a cheeky smile as he flashed K♦K♣ before he tossed it to the dealer.

Groat was ahead with his top pair of queens, but still needed to fade any, nine, king, or ace that would give the pot to Hoang. The turn brought in the 4♥ which dramatically reduced Hoang's outs as any heart would now give Groat a flush. The river came the brick J♦ for Groat's queens to hold and he was awarded the pot for a big double-up.
