Wild Ride for Pridey and Zhou
Zhi Zhou opened to 8,000 preflop and was called by William Pridey to go heads-up to a flop of 7♥2♥5♥.
Zhou continued for 5,000 and was instantly raised by Pridey to 15,000. Zhou did not think this mount was nearly enough and he jammed in his stack of around 60,000 and Pridey snap-called to put him at risk.
Zhi Zhou: 2♦2♠
William Pridey: K♣K♥
Pridey's pocket kings were well behind Zhou's set of deuces, but not for long as the K♠ fell on the turn to give Pridey a superior set of kings.
His celebration was short-lived, however, as the miracle 2♠ came crashing down on the river to give Zhou quad deuces and the table erupted. Zhou was pushed the large pot for the double-up to 140,000 while Pridey was left sitting in shock with only a 500-chip left of his tournament life. He ended up busting in the very next hand and was sent to the rail.
