Tran Sees Triple, Makes Double
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Jaime Tran was in the big blind when made it 7,500 to go preflop and was called by Guillaume "Frenchie" Starek in early position and the small blind.
The flop came out and the small blind checked to Montes, who continued for 7,000 and only Starek made the call.
On the turn , Montes moved all in for around 28,000 and Starek went into the tank.
After a good minute in though, he set his calling chips across the line and the cards were tabled, with Montes at risk.

Guillaume Starek:
Tran was a big favorite going to the river, but he still needed to dodge a jack that would give Starek a straight. Fortunately for him the river was a brick and he was awarded the big pot for a double-up.
