The Second Batch Of Flights Begins at 11 am
After 317 players total came out to play yesterday’s flights, today sees all player’s final opportunity to hop into the field. Flight 1c and 1d will be the last chance that all players have to make Day 2 of the RGPS Graton $800 Main Event in Rohnert Park, California.
Leading both flights yesterday was the chip leader from Day 1a, Le Guan who secured 556,000. With $84,513 in lifetime earnings on Hendon Mob, the young crusher is looking for more results to add to his burgeoning resume. Other notables who bagged massive stacks in the earlier flights included Danny Jon (432,000), Jeff Beachy (410,000), Kasey Mills (396,000), and Reggie Pears (377,000). Each one looking to claim their first RGPS main event title.

Certain Players are expected to make appearances in this flight. Players like Daniel Lowery, David Prociak, Chris Conrad, Yekaterina Lukina, Ashley “PokerFaceAsh” Frank, Brett Murray, PokerGO commentator Jeff Platt and Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano have all made appearances this week in the other events and they look to make another in the biggest guarantee of the series.
Players will begin the tournament with 30,000 in tournament chips, with blinds beginning at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Each level will last 30 minutes, with a 15-minute break between every four levels. Registration will remain open until the beginning of the ninth level, and play will continue until 12.5% percent of the field remains, after which the players will bag up and return on Sunday, October 29th, each guaranteed at least a minimum cash.
Players who do not find a bag on the first flight, will be able to fire the second flight of the day which begins at 4 pm. There will also be two more flights that will begin on Saturday, October 28th at 11 am and at 4 pm. There will be a break in coverage at the conclusion of the first flight, with coverage resuming later in the night on the second flight.
