A Champion Will be Crowned Today of the RunGood Poker Series $575 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event $200,000 GTD at Thunder Valley Casino Resort

After three Day 1 flights, the remaining field of 112 players returns today at 11 a.m. for the final day of play at the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) $575 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event $200,000 GTD from the Thunder Valley Casino Resort.

Leading the pack is Day 1b chip leader David Newton (624,000) followed closely behind by Bernard Lee (576,000) and Day 1c chip leader Michael Rusnak (563,000).

A new record was set this weekend at the RunGood Poker Series. After three starting flights, there were 890 entries in the Main Event. This breaks the previous record of 851 entries in Omaha, Nebraska at the Horseshoe Council Bluffs stop in June of 2021.

The field also smashed the $200,000 guarantee, generating a prize pool of $445,000. Entering today everyone is in the money and first place will take home $77,400.

The casino champion points race is no longer, as just the winner of the RunGood signature multi-flight DeepStack Event as well as the winner of the Main Event will be each property's qualifiers. There is also a travel stipend included in the 2022 Event.

The filmed ProAM event will be streamed live on both PokerGO’s Twitch and YouTube channels. It can also be found on the PokerGO streaming platform itself in a complete episode from start to finish.
