Morey Knocks out Behncke and is Now Chipleader

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a three-way flop of {q-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, Brian Behncke in the small blind open shipped his stack of 31,000 and was called by Armando Mesina to his left.

But then Ken Morey came over the top and shoved for 150,000, covering Mesina. Mesina looked pained as he folded {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} face up into the muck as the other players tabled their cards, with Behncke at risk.

Brian Behncke: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Ken Morey: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Morey was in a great position as he had Behncke drawing only to running tens or king-jack. That being said, the turn came the {10-Diamonds} to also give Behncke two-pair, so he could win the hand with any ten, but the river {2-Diamonds} did not do it and he was eliminated as Morey was pushed the large pot.

Meanwhile, Mesina was kicking himself as he had folded a diamond, which would have scooped the entire pot to make him the chip leader.
