Parra Leads Survivors of Flight Day 1a of RGPS Jamul Main Event
Day 1a action in the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Jamul Casino Main Event has wrapped up after 16 levels of play with Eduardo Parra in the chip lead after bagging a stack of 417,000. Parra leads 11 players who will return to compete on Day 2 for a chance to take down the Main Event.
Play on Day 1a lasted for eight and a half hours and saw a field of 84 entrants in a tournament with three starting flights that will almost certainly surpass the guaranteed prize pool of $150,000.
Other big stacks at the end of Day 1a include Stefan DeLorenzo (359,000), Tavish Margers (323,000), and Jeff Bagamaspad (237,000).

RunGood ambassadors Preston McEwen, Cody Stanford, and Taylor Howard played in the first starting flight but didn’t make it to bagging as they all busted in sequence of each other towards the end of the day.
Day 1b will commence at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 18, while the third and fourth starting flights will kick off on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The remaining players from each flight will return on Sunday, November 20 for a chance at taking the tournament down.
The eventual winner of the RGPS Jamul Casino Main Event will be presented with the championship ring along with the lion’s share of the prize pool, as well as an exclusive invitation and $800 seat and stipend package to the RGPS: All Stars Pro-am Event at PokerGo Studios in December 2022.
