Aces Up Good for Remmes
Level 10
: 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Terence Reid opened to 3,200 in the hijack and was called on the button by Ryan Remmes. Mark Fink also called in the small blind, as did the big blind, and the four players saw the flop come . Both blinds checked and Reid made a continuation-bet of 4,200, which only Remmes called.
Heads-up action then checked through the turn and the river came . Reid checked once more and Remmes bet 6,000. Reid thought for over 30 seconds and then called.
Remmes showed for aces up, and Reid could not beat it, sending his cards to the muck to earn Remmes the pot.
