Ellis Doubles Through Ferrera

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Keith Ferrera opened for 12,000 from the hijack and called when Duster Ellis moved all in for 32,000 from the small blind.

Keith Ferrera: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Duster Ellis: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

It was a flip and Ellis was looking to hold to stay alive. That's just what he did as the board ran out a safe {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Gardy Sends Carpenter Out the Door in 35th Place

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Cash Carpenter
Cash Carpenter

Justin Gardenhire raised to 12,000 under the gun and Cash Carpenter responded with an all-in three-bet to 64,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and Gardenhire made the call.

Justin Gardenhire: {j-}{j-}
Cash Carpenter: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

A queen appeared in the window but unfortunately for Carpenter it was followed by a jack to give Gardy a set.

Carpenter was eliminated on the hand in 35th place for $1,451.

Nguyen Doubles Through Lowery

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Lowery, who earlier this week won the RGPS Hard Rock Tulsa $180 Deepstack, raised to 12,000 from the hijack and called when Bryce Nguyen three-bet all in for 55,000 from the small blind.

Bryce Nguyen: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Daniel Lowery: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

It was a flip and Nguyen was looking to hold to stay alive. That's just what he did too as the board ran out a safe {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.

Bunch Busts Short of the Money

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Lauren Bunch
Lauren Bunch

We missed the elimination of Lauren Bunch in 47th place, but we learned some details after the fact regarding a huge hand against Sam Washburn.

As it was told to us, in the 2,000/4,000/4,000 level Bunch opened for 11,000 holding the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} and Washburn three-bet to 27,000 with the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

Bunch four-bet to 63,000, Washburn five-bet to 128,000, and Bunch moved all in. Washburn called to put her at risk.

Bunch was primed to double into the chip lead on the {k-}{k-}{10-} flop, but a brutal beat was in store as a {9-} on the turn and {j-} on the river gave Washburn a runner-runner straight to chip up to 500K.

Tony Caudill Bubbles RGPS Hard Rock Tulsa

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tony Caudill
Tony Caudill

Tony Caudill was down to just 2,500 when the big blind hit him, which meant those chips went toward the ante. A player in middle position then called 5,000 and Jared Ward popped it to 15,000 next to act. That cleared out the field including the limper.

Tony Caudill: {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Jared Ward: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Caudill was looking to win to get his ante back, but that didn't happen as the board ran out {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Caudill took his leave in 46th place, which guarantees the remaining players $1,228 in prize money.
