The first flight of the RunGood Poker Series $575 Main Event at Grand Casino and Resort in Shawnee, OK is over and 11 players have moved on to Day 2.

Jaymie Jordan finished the day with the chip lead (342,800) with Mason Hinkle (342,200) just behind him.

Hinkle was responsible for ending the day early when he eliminated Jason Jones on the final hand of play. Jones had kings and called Hinkle's shove. Hinkle had Big Slick and flopped an ace to send Jones to the rail.

Jordan broke 300,000 earlier in the day when he scooped a 100,00 three-way pot to eliminate both Kevin McBride and Dave Swanson. He flopped a straight and called two all-ins after Swanson check-shoved and McBride shoved over the top. McBride had a set and Swanson had the nut flush draw. Jordan faded both and stacked the chip lead, which he did not relinquish even though Hinkle made a good run at it.

This is the first-ever RGPS at Grand Casino and with two more satellites tomorrow and two starting flights remaining the Main Event prize pool is only just starting to build.

Of the 83 players who entered today, only 11 of them will move on to the Day 2 restart Sunday at noon. Dan Lowery, RGPS Tunica Main Event champion Tiffany Keathley, Michael Sanders, Pam Belot, Glenn Vermillion, and Megan Moore all queued up and failed to bag for Day 2. Several, if not all of them, are expected to take another shot in the two remaining flights.

The Day 1b flight starts at noon Saturday, followed by the Day 1c flight at 7 p.m. PokerNews will be providing updates and photos throughout the weekend as the RGPS Oklahoma City main event plays down to a winner and the RGPS Game 7 season crowns its second champion.
