Four-Bet Pot on Flop Sees No River
Mykel Comroe opened to 125,000 on the button and was called by both Martin Ruemenapp in the small blind and Dennis Jones, who defended his big blind. The flop came and action checked to Comroe, who made a continuation-bet of 100,000. Ruemenapp put in a check-raise to 300,000 and Jones went into the tank for a full minute before folding.
Action was then back on Comroe, who put in a three-bet to 600,000. Ruemenapp then went into the tank for a bit, counting chips and sliding out a four-bet to 975,000. Comroe confirmed the amount and called.
The turn and Ruemenapp instantly checked. Ten seconds later, Comroe announced he was all in. Ruemenapp's charade was up and he knew it as he quickly sent his cards to the muck, resulting in the massive pot being awarded to Comroe, who now holds around half of the chips in play after the hand.
