Comroe Makes a Straight
Mykel Comroe opened the action with a raise to 50,000 from middle position and received calls from Michael Sanders in the hijack, Everett Register in the cutoff, and Matthew Register who defended his big blind.
The four saw a flop of and action checked to Comroe, who made a continuation-bet of 100,000. Sanders called and both the father (Everett) and son (Matthew) Register folded.
Action was then heads up for the turn , where Comroe continued with a second barrel for 225,000. Sanders thought for close to a minute and then put out a call.
The river fell and Comroe instantly checked. Sanders checked behind and Comroe frustratedly tabled for a straight, upset about the way the hand ended, though not for long as he got a muck from Sanders to take down the pot and further increase his chip lead.
