Gilliam Shoves the River
There was over 70,000 in the middle from four-way preflop action between Kevin Koch in the big blind, Tim Gilliam who was under the gun, Mykel Comroe in the hijack, and Bryan Chaler, who was on the button.
The flop fell and action checked to Comroe, who put out a bet of 75,000. Chaler went into the tank for close to a minute before deciding to let his hand go, with Koch quickly dumping his cards right afterward. Action was then back on Gilliam and he made the call.
Both players checked the turn to bring the river . Gilliam announced he was all in, putting Comroe to a decision for almost 40 percent of his remaining chips. He did not like his hand as much as Gilliam did and decided to let it go rather than see a showdown, resulting in the pot being sent Gilliam's way.
