"He Wins Every Time - Cedric the Entertainer!"
There was around 20,000 in the middle on a flop reading and players in the big blind and early position checked to Cedric Jones, who was the final player in the hand and sitting in the hijack. Jones fired out a bet of 13,000 and got a fold from the big blind.
Action was then back on the early-position player and he picked up calling chips while looking at the remaining chips in his stack as if he wanted to go all in. He looked up to the dealer and announced just that, exclaiming he was all in. Jones quickly called.
All-In Player:
Cedric Jones:
Jones' opponent had check-shoved with two overcards and was in need of hitting one of them to stay alive versus Jones' top pair. He was unable to do so as the turn and river completed the runout, leaving the player with the second-best hand and no further chips left with which to play.
"He wins every time!" exclaimed tablemate Joey Taylor, who has taken a liking to the display that Jones has put on throughout most of the flight. "Cedric the Entertainer!"
Jones raked in the pot and Taylor continued to talk to him. "Ced," he said. "Ced!" Taylor said once more, seeing Jones look up. "I never doubted you!"
