Thadd Wolf Bags 312,000 in Day 1c of RGPS Council Bluffs Main Event
Thadd Wolf leads the last 31 players to join the Day 2 RGPS Council Bluffs Main Event field that restarts Sunday at noon. The final flight drew 130 entries and brought the total prize pool to over $200,000.
Andy Van Blair (266,000), Kyle McKinney (195,500), and Nicholas Burris (166,000) make up the rest of the top four chip stacks from Day 1c.
Run Good Ambassador Julie Cornelius managed to bag 43,500 in the final flight and will also join Day 2 field.
Jovan Sudar is the overall chip leader. He bagged 348,500 thanks in part to a huge three-way all in where he eliminated Chris "Pug" Juul.
The remaining 89 players will return Sunday at noon to battle for the $44,767 first-place prize and the Showbound trophy. The top 45 players will make the money, so the Day 2 field will have some work to do before securing the $920 min-cash.
All players who make the final table will win a spot in the end of season Showbound satellite where they will play for a chance to win one of two spots on Poker After Dark. The winners of the satellite will receive an entry to a $5,000 sit and go along with travel and accommodation in Las Vegas.
PokerNews will be bringing you the action all day tomorrow and all season long from the RGPS.
