Almerli Takes the Long, Lonely Walk of Loneliness

Dan Almerli was nursing a short stack most of the afternoon, but then a rush of cards saw his stack go from under 10,000 to six times that amount. Unfortunately for him, as quickly as the cards turned in his favor they reversed their tracks.

We missed his elimination, but Almerli told us he became involved in a big three-way hand holding pocket nines. His opponents held jacks and tens respectively, and when all was said and done Almerli found himself without a chip to his name.
