Ryan Phan opened for 50,000 from the button only to have a short-stacked Dan Thomas three-bet all in for 135,000 from the small blind. Jim Devaney then four-bet all in over the top for right around 500,000, and that inspired Phan to fold.

It was a flip, and all Thomas needed to do to more than double was hold. That proved easier said than done though as the flop hit Devaney. Neither the turn nor river helped Thomas, and he hit the rail in 14th place.
