Jamie Kerstetter lost almost all of her stack with ace-queen on an ace-high board, as an opponent with nine-seven offsuit found running sevens on the turn and river to scoop the pot.
Shortly thereafter, Kerstetter went all in under the gun with her last 1,700. An opponent on the cutoff raised to 9,200, and James Thompson shoved from the big blind. The cutoff folded.

A player raised to 5,000 from early position, and Tim Duckworth three-bet shoved for 29,200 on the button. Action folded back to the original raiser, who called.
Tim Duckworth:
Opponent:
Duckworth's aces fell behind on the flop when his opponent found top two pair. The turn was no help for Duckworth, but the river gave him aces-up and the winner.

Chris Moneymaker warned the field in his pre-tournament speech that anyone knocking him out would be put in a headlock.
Colton Blomberg came perilously close to drawing the ire of Moneymaker, and the consequential headlock that comes with a bustout of the 2003 WSOP Main Event champion.
An early position player went all in preflop with a short stack, Moneymaker reshoved, and Blomberg made the call, have both opponents covered.
Early Position:
Chris Moneymaker:
Colton Blomberg:
Board:
Moneymaker was one card away from losing some of his chips to the short-stacked early position player, and the rest of his stack to Blomberg. The river brought in a straight for both Moneymaker and Blomberg, however, sending the early position player packing and keeping Moneymaker alive.
"No headlock!" said Moneymaker.
