Gribben Takes Huge Pot With a Mystery Hand

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Chris Lindner opened to 125,000 with {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} on the button. Alex Conatser called with {8-Spades}{6-Spades} on the small blind, and John Gribben also called with an unknown hand on the big blind.

All three players checked the {3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} flop.

Conatser checked the {2-Diamonds} turn, Gribben bet 250,000, Lindner raised to 650,000 with a made flush, Conatser folded, and Gribben called.

Gribben led out on the {5-Diamonds} river, going all in with his last 1,500,000. With four diamonds on the board, Conatser tanked for awhile, eventually deciding on folding his ten-kicker flush.

Lindner Nearing Half the Chips in Play

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

John Gribben limped in from the small blind with {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, then called a raise to 150,000 from Chris Lindner and his {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} in the big blind.

Both players checked the {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, and Gribben bet 125,000 on the {3-Clubs} turn with his top pair. Lindner called with an over and a gutshot.

The {a-Spades} river pulled Lindner in the lead, and Gribben check-called a bet of 325,000 on the river, sending Lindner to almost 5 million in chips.

Albert Ng jammed for 740,000 from under the gun, and John Gribben three-bet shoved for 2 million on the button, chasing out the blinds.

Albert Ng: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
John Gribben: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop was no help to Ng, and he was left searching for a king after the {4-Diamonds} turn. The {2-Clubs} river was a brick for Ng, and he headed to the payout desk.
