Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The action folded to the player on the button and he raised to 6,000. With action on Derek Gomez in the small blind, he moved all in for 22,200 and his opponent called.

Gomez: {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The window card was the {2-Spades} followed by the board of {9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to see Gomez spike his three-outer to double to roughly 46,000 in chips.

Swift Doubles Through Apostol, Surges Past 100,000

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Deb Swift
Deb Swift

Deb Swift opened for 6,500 in middle position, and a player in the small blind shoved for 20,500.

"Call," Tyson Apostol quickly announced in the big blind. Swift came along as well, and {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flopped.

Apostol checked and snap-called the shove of Swift, who had 29,000.

Swift: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Apostol: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Small blind: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Swift said she thought Apostol had the same hand, but her ace-king was way good. The {10-Hearts} and {j-Clubs} hit on the last two streets, and Swift collected the huge pot.

Zhang's Aces Take Him Over 100k

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

From the cutoff, Zhihao Zhang opened to 4,200 and both the small and big blind called as the flop landed {10-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

The small blind checked and the big blind tossed in 5,00 with only Zhang calling as the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

The big blind bet 6,000 and Zhang again called before both players checked the {J-Clubs} on the river.

The big blind tabled his {K-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a busted draw but two pair, however, it would be Zhang's {A-Clubs}{A-Spades} for a better two pair that would see him scoop the pot and be the first player to move into the six-figure club as he rises to roughly 101,200 in chips.

Zhang Outflops Gates

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Garry Gates
Garry Gates

Action folded to Garry Gates, who shoved all in on the button for 28,100. Zhihao Zhang moved in over the top of that out of the small blind, and the big blind folded.

"That's not good," Gates said as he turned over {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

He was pleasantly surprised to see he was ahead of {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} but that changed in a hurry on the {3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} flop. Gates needed running cards, and the {8-Diamonds} ended those hopes.
