Hardie Takes It on the Turn

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante
Heather Hardie
Heather Hardie

Jared Cobb opened from under the gun to 800 and was met with a call from Jack Honor in the hijack before Heather Hardie three-bet her button to 2,300. The blinds folded and Cobb called before Honor folded.

Both players checked the {6-Spades}{A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop as the {Q-Spades} rolled off on the turn and Cobb checked to Hardie.

Hardie tossed in a bet of 2,100 and Cobb quickly folded.

Justice Prevails in Battles of Aaron

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Following a preflop raising war, Aaron Justice committed his last 7,975 with Aaron Schoch making the call.

Justice: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Schoch: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

In a classic coinflip, Justice would call heads and flip heads as the dealer spread a {J-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} board to ensure Justice's double to just over starting stack as Schoch dropped to under 12,000.

"I'm Stuck Now"

Level 4 : 100/200, 50 ante

We found Andy Camou in a raising war preflop blind versus blind. The small blind had put 1,800 in, and Camou had reraised to 3,800. His opponent responded with 8,800, and Camou grinned, said something inaudible, and announced all in.

"I'm stuck now," his opponent said, calling 14,450.

Camou: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, and Camou doubled up.

Set for Boltryk Sees Lavalley Exit

Level 4 : 100/200, 50 ante

Raphael Bouchard opened the action with a raise to 600 only to have George Lavalley three-bet to 1,200 in the hijack. The cutoff, button, and Andre Boltryk called in the big blind as Bouchard called also.

The flop of {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades} was checked to Lavalley who moved all in for 8,375. The cutoff and button folded before Boltryk moved all in for an additional 9,000 as Bouchard folded.

Lavalley: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Boltryk: {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}

With Boltryk in commanding shape with bottom set, the turn and river landed the {9-Clubs} and {A-Spades} to see Lavalley eliminated and Boltryk move to over 32,000 in chips.

Ring the Bell

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante
Ken Horrell
Ken Horrell

Ken Horrell said he cold four-bet from the big blind after there was an open and a three-bet from the player on the button, who subsequently shoved all in. Horrell called off his 19,275.

Horrell: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Button: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, keeping the queens best.

"The ladies!" Horrell exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air. He then rang his Run It Up bell in celebration.

Flush for Ross

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante
RIU Reno
RIU Reno

On a flop of {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} with 3,050 in the middle, a player in the hijack bet out 3,000 only to have Dwight Ross move all in for 12,525. The small blind folded but the flop aggressor called.

Ross: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Opponent: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

With Ross trailing with this pair and flush draw, the turn of the {2-Diamonds} would change little, but it would be the {10-Clubs} on the river that would see him river his club flush to take the pot.

Once the dealer broke down the stacks, both Ross and his opponent had exactly 12,525 each to see Ross double through to 28,100.
