Dan O'Brien Eliminated in 4th Place ($1,539)

Level 21 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Dan O'Brien
Dan O'Brien

Dan O'Brien was eyeing the trophy of this event and he grinded it out in stellar fashion, but just now he fell short in fourth place.

Valerie Hanley moved all in and Dan O'Brien called off his last 245,000 chips, which created the following showdown.

Hanley: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
O'Brien: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

"HEARTS!!!!" Danielle Andersen yelled from the rail to bring maximum pain on O'Brien, and the flop rolled out {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

The entire room went nuts and jumped up, as O'Brien's jacks got crushed.

"Another heart?" O'Brien laughed, as he was still alive with a flush draw.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and the river the {J-Clubs}, knocking O'Brien out in fourth place.

William Recker was down to his final 55,000 chips when he moved all in under the gun. The action folded to Roy Peters in the big blind he called for a tiny bit more to create the following showdown.

Recker: {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Peters: {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{7-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Recker hit the rail in fourth place.

Peters Doubles Through Capps

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Jesse Capps raised all in from the button.

"I call," said Roy Peters in the big blind immediately when the action fell on him.

"That's not good," said Capps.

Peters showed the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, and Capps tabled the {10-Diamonds} first.

"There's one over," Capps said.

To go along with that, Capps had the {6-Hearts} for the {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

The dealer spread the {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop, and it kept Peters in the lead. Still, Capps was optimistic of his chances.

"Little straight draw going on," Capps said when he saw the flop.

The turn was the {Q-Clubs}, and the river was the {4-Spades}. Capps had missed, and Peters won the hand to double up.

"How much — 140?" Capps asked.

The dealer counted down Peters' stack and informed Capps that it was 220,000.

"Wow..." Capps said in a surprised manner. "I misclicked then... Good ol' ten-six off with five left."

Capps Tying To Do It for "Team Media"

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

"Can we do it?" asked Jesse Capps to our reporter standing by the final table. "Can we do it for team media?"

Capps, who has previously worked on the media side of things within the poker industry, has chipped up nicely and worked his way to the final five of the event.

"They always forget to put that I used to work in the media on those bio sheets," Capps said. "You know those bio sheets, right?"

Yes, Mr. Capps. We know.

From the hijack seat, Jesse Capps announced a raise.

"I raise," he said before pausing to count out the amount he wanted to raise to. "Make it 195,000."

Everyone folded, and Capps was pushed the pot.

"I told you, get that Corona," he said to the table. "Best thing I could've ever ordered!"

Jason Unsain - 6th Place
Jason Unsain - 6th Place

From the cutoff seat, Jason Unsain raised all in for 100,000. Jesse Capps announced that he was all in for 165,000 on the button, and everyone else folded. Unsain had the {K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, and Capps had the {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}, and Capps won the pot to bust Unsain in sixth place.

"Cocktails!" yelled Capps after the hand, before pointing over to Valerie Hanley. "How come she's the only one with a cocktail?"

The cocktail server arrived shortly after, and she asked Capps what he would like to order.

"Whatever she's having," he said, pointing over to Hanley again.

"A Corona?" the server asked, seeing that Hanley was drinking a cold Corona with a lime.

"Corona — yeah, that," Capps finished.
