Dillashaw Knocked Out

Level 8 : 300/600, 150 ante

A title like this usually comes with a lot more pain for UFC Champion TJ Dillashaw, but right now it's about him getting knocked out of this tournament.

Dillashaw was kind enough to share what happened, as he ran {a-}{6-} into {a-}{q-} for his last 4,400 chips.

Dillashaw, who hosted an excellent workout this morning for a group of exciting players, will be back for more tomorrow in the next tournament.

Boston Rob Misses a Big Draw and Hits the Rail

Level 8 : 300/600, 150 ante

Boston Rob Mariano just got knocked out from the tournament and he came over to our table to share his elimination hand.

Mariano explained how he caught a pretty looking flop that included {J-}{9-}{7-} with two diamonds, as the four-time Survivor competitor looked down on {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

"I started the hand with 14,000 and after he bet 2,800 I moved all in. He called with {K-}{J-}," Mariano said, as he got no help from the turn nor river.

The Survivor party, hosted by Mariano himself, will start at 7:00 p.m. in the tournament area, which is open for everyone interested in watching and hanging out. Other Survivor contenders Tyson Apostal and Benjamin 'Coach' Wade will also be in attendance, but the former is still in the tournament as of right now.

Harrington Gets Some

Level 6 : 150/300, 75 ante

Brent Harrington just raised to 1,000 and two players opted to make the call, bringing out a {9-Spades}{K-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop.

The action checked to Harrington who bet 2,000 and both his opponents made the call.

On the turn the {4-Hearts} hit and both players checked. The river was the {A-Diamonds} and again the action was checked.

"King," Harrington announced before turning over {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, and that was enough to take down the pot.

Boston Rob's Attempt at Heroism

Level 5 : 100/200, 75 ante

"Go easy on me," Rob Mariano, who's better known as Boston Rob, as he looked over at your reporter on the scene.

The scene was as following, with {Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{J-Spades} on the table and a few thousand chips in the middle.

Mariano was facing a bet of 1,700 from Deb Swift, who smiled as she looked over at her opponent.

"Is it still my turn?" Mariano said after a while, getting the other players at the table to laugh.

"The anticipation is too high now," Mariano smiled after a while, as he was still pulling his arm back every time he got close to throwing out the chips for the call.

Eventually Mariano did call, and Swift showed {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a pair of fours.

"This is what I called her with," Mariano sighed, tabling {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for bottom pair.

"I went to the seminar this morning, and I should've raised!"

"Like Jason says, 'If you think about folding; call. If you think about calling; raise.'" Mariano continued.

Mariano lost a bit of chips on this hand, but he still has about 16,000 to work with while Swift is sitting on around 22,000.
