Somerville Takes Down a Huge One

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

The host of Run it Up Reno, and one of the biggest 5 Card PLO fans, Jason Somerville, has just managed to drag in a huge pot to get himself towards the top of the leader board.

The action started with a raise by Somerville to 4,500 and Dan Deveau three-bet from the big blind to 13,500, the pot-sized maximum.

"This is a call to win the tournament," Somerville smiled, as he put in the call.

The Main Event seminar is about to begin in about an hour, and Somerville is hosting it and will leave the tournament if he needs to. There is some pressure on Somerville to wrap this tournament up fast, and he got the flop he was looking for.

The flop brought out {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Deveau moved all in for about 17,000, and Somerville called right away.

Deveau: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Somerville: {3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{J-Spades}

Somerville had flopped the wheel, and the turn brought the {7-Clubs} and the river the {10-Diamonds}, giving him this big pot.
