Sandberg Ruins Lavinthal's Day
Oskar Sandberg is having the week of his life. First the Swedish player managed to win the Survivor event, then the proposed to his girlfriend (who said yes) and right now he's sitting on a comfortable stack in the Main Event.
Alex Lavinthal didn't win an event, nor did he get married, and he also just got knocked out by Sandberg. It's safe to say Lavinthal's day got ruined by Sandberg just now, as he sent him to the rail after beating him up in two big pots.
"First he doubled through me when I hit a set of sevens but he rivered broadway," Lavinthal said.
On the last hand the player in the cutoff raised to 2,500 and Sandberg called on the button. The player in the small blind called as well, before Lavinthal moved all in for 21,100. The cutoff folded and Sandberg called right away, getting the small blind to fold.

The board brought Sandberg two pair, and he sent a disappointed Lavinthal to the rail.
