Welcome to Day 2 of Event #4: $500 5-Card PLO High here at the luxurious MGM National Harbor. Last night saw the event play down to just five players with Roy Kim leading the charge after amassing 2,335,000 in chips, which represents just under half the total amount of chips in play. The only other player over a million is Shouyi Gao, who managed to bag 1,070,000 last night.

All five players are already in the money and will be fighting for the lion's share of the $56,805 prize pool. Kim and Gao appear to be the most experienced players going into Day 2 with more than $100,000 in live-tournament earnings each according to The Hendon Mob. A first-place finish for any of the other players would represent a new high score for them. The payouts will be as follows:

Day 2 will begin on level 18 (where Day 1 left off) and all levels from 20 onward will be increased to 45 minutes in length. Play will continue until a winner has been decided.
