Gorman Doubles Through Kelly in Monster Pot

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Erik Gorman
Erik Gorman

A player shoved for their last 7,000 from under-the-gun and action folded to Erik Gorman in the cutoff, who raised to 21,000. Glenn Kelly cold-called from the small blind and the big blind folded.

Kelly announced a dark check before the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop came out and Gorman checked behind.

Kelly checked when the {7-Diamonds} fell on the turn, prompting a 20,000 bet from Gorman. Kelly quickly announced he was all in for a bit over 100,000.

"That sucks, but I have to call," said Gorman as he committed his remaining 96,000.

Erik Gorman: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Glenn Kelly: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Early-position player: {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Gorman was ahead, but would need to fade a bevy of outs in order to scoop the pot.

The {k-Spades} river gave Gorman a full house and he more than doubled up, eliminating one opponent and leaving Kelly with crumbs.
