Boker Up Big Early
A player in middle position limped as did the cutoff, button and small blind. Torsten Boker in the big blind was not, however, prepared to let so many players see a cheap flop, opting to raise to 1,800. That was enough to force out the middle position, cutoff and button players but the small blind decided to call.
Action was checked to Boker on a flop of 
and he continued for 1,500. The small blind, seemingly unconvinced, called.
The 
turn saw the small blind seize the betting lead in dramatic fashion, moving their entire stack into the middle. Boker snapped it off with the covering stack to put his opponent at risk.
