Eisenberg Eliminates Matei

Level 21 : Blinds 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Lara Eisenberg
Lara Eisenberg

Lara Eisenberg limped from early position as did Roger Laing on the button and the small blind. Dan Matei then moved all in for his last 94,000 from the big blind and was only called by Eisenberg.

Dan Matei: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Lara Eisenberg: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Eisenberg was marginally ahead but Matei took the lead on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. The {a-Spades} turn flipped the tables back around and Matei headed to the exits just shy of the money after the {9-Hearts} river completed the board.

After the hand was over, a player at the table suggested Eisenberg needed to 'regain her confidence' to which she responded 'I feel confident'. Given Eisenberg's chip stack, it seems the WSOP bracelet winner is, in fact, playing with a great deal of confidence.
