McKeehen Doubles Up

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A player opened to 2,000 from middle position and was called by Joe McKeehen in the small blind as well as the big blind player.

All three players checked through the {3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop to the {8-Spades} turn at which point McKeehen led out for 4,500, getting a call from the big blind and a fold from the middle position player.

McKeehen slowed down after the {5-Spades} river completed the board, checking to the big blind who bet out a hefty 17,000. After a few moments, McKeehen announced he was all in for 73,500. His opponent did not appear comfortable with the situation and seemed close to folding. Eventually, however, he did make the call with the covering stack but mucked after McKeehen tabled {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a flopped full house.
